Phoenix has a great sense of community! We have Hack Night at GangPlank that gets many tech people together from around the valley. We have PodCamp AZ that is more of an educational event for new media people. AZ No Pants is gearing up to be a great day with many in attendance. Creative Connect, Refresh Phoenix, etc…
One of my favorites in the Valley is Ignite Phoenix. The idea behind Ignite is if you had 5 minutes and 20 slides what would you say. Two prior meetings have been held. Here are a couple of examples of prior presentations. The newest event is coming up on February 25 at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Submissions are now open and waiting for you to submit your talk.
